Take it one day at a time...If you can, I would start trying to jog/run a little too. I used to walk 2 minutes then run 1 minute. This keeps you're heart rate up during the entire time you're exercising.
If you want to pickup the hotties...get a dog. Great conversation starter

Went for my 2 mile walk this afternoon but I did 3 miles instead. I felt so good after 2 miles that I went for 1 extra.

Honestly you need to make a schedule, otherwise you'll get distracted or even worse you might get burned out. Tell yourself you will do 2 miles all week and time it.

I started walking on Friday and it takes me about 40 minutes to walk the 2 miles. I start my walk at 6:30PM everyday and I eat before I go.

Oxxon, you are one funny dude!! Good luck to you man. I'm really glad for you.
LOL @ the KFC reply. uhmmmm.. mile per mile running will burn more calories. But biking is non impact so it will not wear down your joints (knees) like running will. I'd say running or even power walking is better. But if you like biking, its fine cause it is cardio and all.
Do some short sprints to get your heart pounding. Even if your sprints are "slow". As long as your using energy, your losing calories. and walking/running uphill is like losing 1.5 times the calories as walking in a staright line sooo yeahhhh. you should do that tooo. This would even help you if you had high blood pressure. Gets your heart working and your blood flowing normally.
If you briskly walk an hour a day.. you would lose about 2,500+ calories a week which is not bad at all... Try to aim for an hour everyday... even better (2) 45 minutes workouts... You shouldn't really calculate how much distance you do. Just do as much as you can...
and drink a lot of water /electrolytes(in gatorade, you can buy this at a GNC) your muscles need fluid to keep them strong. drink water till your peee is clear. it will help you not be sore in the morning.
Also after walking/sprinting, doing some weights wouldn't hurt as well.. It's better to do weights after a run (benching/push ups).. Shapes up your chest so you won't have "man-breasts".
Good Luck MAN!!!

i guess it doesn't really matter really. I seem to have less energy when i lift weights and then go running... it's easier the other way around for me.. thats just me though

These guys have no idea what they are talking about. Hands down the only exercise you need is the Shake Weight and you'll be set.

Update!
Lost 2 pounds so I'm down to 234. I have not been able to walk the last 2 days due to the tropical storm we just had. Hopefully I'll be able to get back on track today.
