    Miscellaneous packs

Had to go to fred's to get some household items and picked up a variety of packs.

Bought a pack with GU and four individual packs for $6. The GU was 2006 Ovation Trot Nixon jersey. My kids opened up the packs and my 12 yr old got a 2006 UD Sean Casey jersey (Pirates) . There wasn't a whole lot in the remaining packs except a 2006 UD Skip Schumaker insert my 12 yr gave me for my PC and an Ichiro 2007 Topps Opening Day puzzle card but the kids enjoyed opening them.

I also bought 3 packs of Topps Heritage for $1.49 a pack and the best cards were pulled was by my 9 year old who pulled a Rich Harden Chrome refractor ($6) and Joey Votto (RC)($5). All together my 3 boys pulled 4 greenback and black back Sp's and a couple News flashbacks inserts as well. Not bad for $4.50.

Now for my 6 single packs. I enjoy some Minor League cards since I watch a lot of single A ball games here in Charleston and actually recognize and have seen many of the players play. I picked up the last six blister packs of 2007 TriStar Prospects Plus they had for $1.49 a pack and here are the results:

Notable base: Madison Bumgarner, Jason Heyward ($8) , Matt Wieters, Rick Porcello

Autos: Green parallel auto of Jonathan Arencibia #ed 24/50 ($25)
Farm Hand Auto: Neil Ramirez ($8)
    Protential: Clayton Kershaw

PC base: Colby Rasmus ($2), Carmen Angelini (x2), Austin Romine (x2), Taylor Grote

Not a bad day for $20.
