National Treasures Set building in Progress

Last week, I went to Nationals in Baltimore. It was a great show even though there were not that many tables selling basketball stuff. Good thing is that, National Treasures just came out. A lot of sellers broke the cases/boxes. I was able to pick up 77 base cards (/99 ones). Now, I continue my task on my base cards and extend to RC base cards as well.

Here are some of the cards from today. I will continue to add cards here, and hopefully I can pick up some in SCF before helping ebay business.



Hopefully this guy will play in NBA. I just look at the back of this card. "He had 51 points, 24 rebounds, 12 assists and 7 steals in the title game against Russia, hitting a half-court bomb to send the game into OT". Pretty amazing at any level of basketball game.




Very cheap card. Oh well.. coming from this player, and not even his NBA jersey.




10 color break, not bad. I have see crazy patch on King jersey. But I still have to give Jrue Holiday RC card. Sixers jersey is crazy.




I would say this is above average patch at a reasonble price.

Typical patch with 5 color break.




I think fewer patch coming from this white jersey. The patch looks like it is coming from "THUNDER". It is up-side-down on "N"




So far, this card has the best patch. It covers the whole window. Pretty easy to figure where it comes from :D

Yes, I didn't like Panini before this set coming out. And I think this set is going to be something since it is only /99 set total. Not even Exquisite base set is /99.

I'm still thinking how to store these cards. I think it will be too heavy for page album. Not sure yet.
