Input needed
As most of you know, I have been collecting stuff and building an 08-09 SPGU Rookie and Base set that I will be auctioning once completed for the Diamond Blackfan Anemia Foundation (see signature for information).
I am starting to get to the point where it will become harder to finish this out because of the /99 RC's in this set, but that is fine.
However, with this said, I am thinking about what to do next as a set project. Several thoughts have crossed my mind.
* 08-09 Authentic Fabrics (I have about 30 now)
* BAP Signatures from some year
* 07-08 Sweet Shot Rookies as I have about 8-10 incoming from deals.
But I'm not sold on any of these and thus I'm ask you all to make suggestions. No thought is bad, but I want it to be reasonable to finish, fairly easy to obtain and would be something that would get a good amount of $$ to the foundation.
So with that, suggest away!
Thanks,
Scott

I kind of like the idea of doing the 07-08 Sweet Shot Rookie set. If you are doing that one, I'd probably try and do something like say the rookie jersey/auto set though rather than just the jerseys because the autos add a lot of value to it. Doing something like the 07-08 BAP Auto set could also work as there are some big name rookies in there worth a fair amount (Price, Kane, Toews) but those three can also be found in the Sweet Shot sets as well so it's a toss up between those two IMO.
Hope this helps Scott and best of luck finishing your current set! Also post in the group once you decide what set you're doing, I may have a couple things for ya ;)

I'd suggest a set that is easy to trade to get a lot of the cards. No sense of buying cards to resell in a lot which will go cheaper. Just stick to the AF's, since you have about half or so (don't try to get the SP), and than sell as a lot.

08-09 authentic fabrics has a crazy Sp in Maxim Afinigenov, since the product came out i have seen 3 and 1 was in a set and 2 were sold for between 100-125. That was over a year ago.
I would personally do the sweet shot rookie set and it should be fairly easy to complete.

I am kinda in the same boat as you Scott. I am collecting for ALS also know as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Look at my sig for more info. I am just collecting anything at all from anyone who is willing to donate. What I would suggest would be to try Young Guns. They actually hold value and everyone has them. I would be pretty sure that you could get them very easily.
Best of luck to you.
