    Well,

After doing a little looking around, I have come to realize that my GU bat is not that rare. LOL. I'm happy regardless, hehehe. I have never purchased any Allen and Ginter products and basicaly ignored them. To get a GU from the very first and only pack that I purchased though is kinda neat.

To tell you guys the truth, I kinda like the set, I am really not up to speed on all of the new players and such. I'm a vintage collector that has just returned to the hobby. I must say though, I like this set, and plan on purchasing a few more of those value boxes. There is not a card shop anywhere near here, so Walmart is my olny source. The fact that pack searchers can not search these packs is a nice bonus as well. Blasters get kinda boring after awhile, hehehe.

I'll post my results when I get another box guys. See Ya!

Even though the Dunn isnt rare or a crazy pull thats still awesome you pulled a GU bat outta one pack. Especially it being your first A&G break ever. I notice you mentioned you only break blasters cause Walmart is all you got in your area. Have you shopped around online? If you have the money just not the physical access, go check out blowoutcards or other box dealers. Stay away from blasters and get yourself some hobby boxes.

    Thanks Jdub for the advice.

I did pick up 1 series 2 hobby box, I did order from Blow Out, That was kinda fun. I plan on ordering more. I kinda like the "thrill of the hunt" too, hehe, you know what I mean. Finding these in stores is cool. I know the retail packs are crappy as far as pulling anything great, however I did pull a Yogi Berra GU jersey #/99 from Walmart packs. That was cool.

I did pick up another of those Value Boxes just a little while ago, nothing special, but I can report that the million card give aways are in the regular packs in the box as well.

I did get a Black Border Mini Colby Rashmus. These Allen & Ginter cards are crazy, LOL.

    See cardcollector1972's Items on eBay

Another positive with the $15 Bonus Boxes from Topps is that the A&G pack is a Hobby pack which gives you a lot better chance at something good compared to retail A&G

Went to another Walmart, this makes me sick. The BlowOut Cards Forum thread on these boxes is already up to 20 pages. That's beside the point. What makes me sick is, I went to a diff Walmart this evening to maybe pick a couple more boxes up. I get to the aisle and see 4 boxes, I think alright. I'll pick up all 4.

Looked at the boxes, the card sleeve with the code and refactor is gone, along with the AG pack. All four of them were like that. Man, the low down dirty rat that did this deserves to rot.

So, be on the lookout for something like this. The BlowOut Forum is on fire over these boxes, all because of the Starsburg refactor.....big hairy deal is what I say, I would much rather have the Million Card Giveaway code cards.
