When do you/ Do you guys stop sending c/o team, and wait until spring training the following season for the MLB?

I planned to stop sending c/o teams by the end of August unless they are known to sign quickly. That gives players a month to sign, or package all their mail to take home with their belongings for the off season. Seems like a safe amount of time to me.

Right now is about the time to actually start sending to guys that are good post-season signers like CC Sabathia and Josh Hamilton.

This may also be the last time to try to get many stars who might not be back.
Billy Wagner
Jim Thome
Chipper Jones

add Brad Ausmus to that list of players retiring. He has been a great signer.
CC Sabathia I sent to during ST in hope
Hamilton I sent out in my last batch 2 weeks ago, but this would be the time
already got Thome, but is Wagner a signer? I know that Chipper does the postcard thing, so don't need to ask about him.

Don't expect to get your exact card back from Sabathia. Don't send him something you can't live without.

Thanks guys, I just started TTMing last month. I wasn't sure if the mail would more or less get lost if I sent it too late.

If I were to send to Josh Hamilton today, should I send c/o Rangers or to his home address?
