Steve Kouleas, The Score Part Ways

I just learned that Steve Kouleas, who hosted Hardcore Hockey Talk on The Score, has left the station. This is too bad because it's my favourite hockey talk program.

Also, on a related note, The Score owns the English-language broadcast rights to the Montreal Canadiens - they've been trying to get added to the slate on the major Quebec-based telecom giant (Qubecor?) for a while now so that they have a wider audience, and Kouleas was slated to be the play-by-play commentator once it got going. So that's a double downer.

I hope that he gets himself a spot with TSN in the near future. It would definitely make That's Hockey an even stronger program, same for the actual NHL on TSN broadcasts.

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

I like Cabbie. The interview he had during the '09 playoffs with Price and Laraque has produced many laughs for me and ample amusing fodder for the Price-haters to claim that he doesn't take his role and responsibilities seriously.

Pierre needs to go away ....

He knows too much about hockey to be a good analyst .... I know that sounds weird .... but ...

    - Not everyone is a MONSTER
    - Not every young kid on Team Canada is a future superstar
( Being Canadian, thats one thing that I cant stand .... watching Team Canada on TSN with Pierre ... my Russian friend will completely agree =P )

** The Canadians are just bigger, stronger, faster, have more passion, hit harder, have better systems .... blah blah blah ... ** - Shut it Pierre

I also liked Kool on Ice ... hope he stays on TV!
