Neither Shaq or Kobe will win it next year, even if they somehow manage to put MVP numbers up with Payton and Malone also in the starting lineup. Honestly, how could you give the MVP to anybody on a team like that? The MVP will most likely fall to either Duncan or Garnett again, with McGrady having an outside shot if he gets the Magic to perform above expectations. I'm going with Garnett.

If Shaq wants to win it, he will, b/c no one is big and strong enough to stop him, except himself.
If Shaq doesn't care, then I will have to say that KG might get the nod, esp. with the trades the Wolves made this summer

McGrady won't be MVP -- he plays in the weak Eastern division, and if the Magic do really well (Nets/Pistons are better), then writers will say the Magic do well b/c they play in the weak East.
The MVP will come from the West

I wouldn't pick any Laker for MVP considering how many stars there are on the team it will be hard for one to stand out from all of the rest. For now I am going to go with Paul Pierce as an outside shot just for fun.
