Redemption Success Rate?
I'm just wondering, given how much bickering and griping we see regarding UD redemptions, just how successful people have been when it actually came to getting their redemptions fulfilled from Upper Deck.
Thus, a two-part question:
1. How many redemptions have you had fulfilled, out of how many total?
2. Of the cards that were not fulfilled, did you receive a replacement that was satisfactory to you?
Mine:
1. 19 out of 20 cards successfully redeemed.
2. The 1 "card not produced" - a Gorges SPGU SIGnificance that was never signed because UD ran out of stickers and didn't have a contract with him for more autos - was replaced with an assortment of autographs, including a Kyle Chipchura SP Authentic RC and Larry Murphy Beehive Signature Scrapbook. While not PC items, both were traded in short order, so yes I was a satisfied customer.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

6 for 6. I think 5 were the MVP or Ultra RC Redemptions though. But I never had an issue.

1. I am 1 for 3 with redemptions. And the one I received I gave away when I sold my lot because I have no use for it. So I am not a happy camper at all.
2. The cards that I have not received will not be replaced. They have given me attitude and give me no hope.
One of them was a Jonathan Toews Ultra redemption rookie, so yeah, I'm ticked. I'm pretty sure it was a higher level than Gold Medallion too.
The other was a 06-07 #213 I believe. I couldn't find out what it was either. But I still would have liked to received it.

Two variations on this answer.
If you count 1990s - You Crash The Game, Young Guns Rookies, Cool Trade, stuff like that.... I never had a problem with them once. (And can't remember how many I redeemed - but lots).
In recent years... I've had three:
06-07 Parkhurst - John Davidson Auto. There were two expiery dates.... one for the website / postmark date.... the other was "received by date". I opened the box, and got the redemption in between these dates. I contected UD right away, and they sent me the card. +1
07-08 SPA Dual Sign of the Times Bill Ranford & Grant Fuhr - I bought the redemption card about 2 weeks after the product was live. Punched the code in online, and the card was in my hand about a month later. This is how redemptions are supposed to work. +1
06-07 SPGU Lettermarks Bill Ranford. I punched this code in, back in April of 2006. It recently (late last week, maybe early this week?) had a status update, saying the card will not be made. I asked for a replacement..... no idea what I'll get yet. -1

2 for 3.
99-00 MVP SCE ProSign Brett Hull, pulled it in 06 I think got it a couple months later
07-08 MVP Rookie Redemption got it in 5 weeks I think
Worst part: 08-09 BAP RC Redemption Jhonas Enroth, redeemed it in February of this year and nothing yet.

2 of 4
1st was a Adam Dennis Auto /100 (took a couple of weeks to get)
2nd was an artifacts rookie for Phoenix (Shawn Henska)
3rd was suppose to be a B. Poulliet Patch Auto /599 from 06/07 Hot Prospects, Waited one year for a replacement since card was never going to be made. Ended up getting a 07/08 Trilogy 1-2 Clearcut Combo Auto of Ryan Miller / Tomas Vanek /100. A very nice upgrade.
4th one is a 09/10 BAP 10/11 rookie redemption. (i have 2 more but yet to punch them in).
2/4 in redeeming, 3/3 in satisfaction.

32/33 but the 33'rd was asked for a replacement at my request as i did not really want the vokoun/horton dual auto. Upper deck did a bang up job and made me reall happy with the replacement so really i consider it 33/33
