    Redemption Expired

I purchased a tin of 2005/06 SP Signature Edition from my local hobby shop today. Got home, opened it up and got a redemtion of a Kwame Brown Gold Auto/25. It say it expires boy 3/7/2009. I'd like to know if there is any way I can still get the card.

    Thanks

Contact Upper Deck, be polite with them on the phone, explain you realize they dont really owe you anything but you would just like to know if there is anyway they can throw you a bone, and you may get something...

Upper Deck and Donruss/Panini are usually good with expired redemptions. You may not get the card the redemption is for, but they will generally send you SOMETHING pretty comparable. Topps is the worst, their attitude is the card is expired, sorry. Nice customer service there Topps...

Good luck, just be polited and you should wind up happy. If you can try speaking with Chris Carlin, he's a good guy and always tries to help out.

why do people even complain when its expired and they contact the company about it. its like a store closes at 9 and you go at 10. its closed and you are left in the dark. topps has all the right reason to deny the redemption, all the companies do.

whats bogus is not even fulfilling the card when its no expired

I think you would have a legitimate complaint if you are guaranteed a certain item in a box/pack (an autograph for example) and it turns out to be an expired redemption. That means you did not get what was guaranteed.
