Way too many turnover. It is not like they are not shooting well. It is not like they can't rebound.
NBA playoff always gives you second chance. Losing 1 game? It doesn't matter. Losing 2 games? You can still make a come back. I guess only the players who actually go through March Madness would understand how important of each playoff game is.
This world tournment is just hard for USA. There is no game to study. They may not even play against those countries before. USA has to make quick adjustment during the game, not after the game. Unless USA sends a team that is so strong, I don't see them winning every game.

I have caught a couple of the Team USA games and have noticed that the point guards are playing good but they are having a hard time adjusting to the European style of play. Most of the forwards are playing out of position which is an adjustment right there although Durant is scoring pretty well. Kevin Love looks a little lost out there on the court when I watch him play. Most of the European big men can shoot the perimeter 3's and team USA can't except for Odom and Durant. That is just my view so far. I didn't catch the Brazil game but saw they won by 2 points. They will have to play better against Spain and a few of the other countries that have athletic big men.

It was his uncle wasn't it? Either way, I don't buy it. He flew all the back, practiced with the team, and dressed out to play. After he got the DNP against Spain, he knew he was getting cut. One of the bloggers wrote that he thought it was due to his poor jumpshot, and some of the European teams exposed it in the exhibition teams. I'm not trying to bash the guy. It's just my opinion on the situation. I'd rather be at home than in Turkey, too.

Yes it was. With the upsets happening last week, I was getting nervous. The cinderella teams have been pulling out some unbelieveable wins so far. Go Team USA!

Not sure if you know already, the game is on right now in the 3rd quarter on ESPN.com. It was a 10 point game, but USA has stretched it to 16.

its so nice to see kevin durrant finally taking over the games. Coach K tried so hard through all the exhibition matches to get him to take over and he finally has. back to back 30 point efforts. he is finally being the man and if he plays like this for the rest of today and tommorow then we will have a gold medal.
