Sunday RANT!!
I hope you'll forgive me this as I just need to let off some steam!
I'm browsing eBay for cheap pickups and I find a nice-looking older blaster box with 9 packs in it for $5.99 (Ł3.86). Bargain.
Then I look at the postage to get it here - $24.95?!!??!
Are you KIDDING ME? Since when did sending a light box of cardboard cost SIXTEEN POUNDS?
Do these people not realise that I would be buying their stuff if they didn't bung S&H charges like that on it?!?!

On that note, if you are a seller who can send things at a reasonable price, do let me know.

That is pretty steep! I feel for you as a fellow Brit.
There was this card I really wanted, but the shipping was $7.50 which I think was too high. Some people, I feel, do take advantage.

I have just contacted him to find out what ridiculous excuse he has.
It is possible to send a box with 100 cards and a very light blaster box for $11.50. I know this because they just arrived! How do people justify these crazy prices? They're all at it!
If you set eBay to 'price+P&P', the prices get higher not because the quality of the products go up, but because the postage gets worse. There is somebody out there trying to charge $34.95 for one box. Honestly, it drives me INSANE.

It is ridiculous, but asking them if they could break up the box and post it in an alternative way, they might agree. There was this Heroes and Prospects box I was going to buy and because the postage was too high, I asked him if he could 'break' it up and post them in team bags, he agreed and may have worked out cheaper.

If he's shipping from Canada, that could very likely be the cost for airmail overseas. As you guys may know, Canada Post likes to jack up the cost for shipping anything to Europe. It's not just the weight of the packaging but also the dimensions, and unfortunately that's usually where they get you. You might be able to talk him into looking into the rate for surfact mail, which will bring down the cost significantly, but you'll be waiting potentially up to 12 weeks.

That's an interesting thought. Is it reliable?

It is very reliable - that's the thing with Canada Post: they're very dependable but they charge for it. Usually it even shows up a lot quicker than the 12 weeks.

Yep, even yesterday when I went to mail a thicker bubble mailer, it was just barely too thick to be charged $1.25 or so to send within Canada, so instead it was going to cost me $11.00! Therefore, I could definitely see Canada Post charging $25 for a box to the UK if I was going to mail a domestic oversized envelope for $11.
