my first ttm auto!
Watched the HBO documentary on the AFL and got excited. I bought a few mini helmets off of Ebay but wanted a Clem Daniels. I saw that someone on here got an 8x10 signed so I bought a 1963 throwback Raider mini and sent it to him with a return box and label, a sharpie and tape! LOL
Anyway, i got it back today and it was signed -
"Best regards Clem Daniels #36, MVP '63"
He also included another signed postcard with his pic and stats - I'm thrilled!

Thats a fantastic first return.. Always great to get the ONE Athlete back you really want, but to get it back on your first attempt is outstanding.. Congrats on the return & would LOVE to see a pic of it...

Thanks guys I can see how it can be addicting. I will get a pic soon. That was the highlight of my day as I sprained my ankle pretty severely this morning and even to get up to get a pic is pretty difficult right now.

Thanks guys, all of a sudden I'm really into this. But sending mini helmets is just too much. What do you guys normally send? Cards? Photos?

Well hold on, how do you send a mini helmet ttm?
Normally, I send cards or printouts. By the latter I copy and paste from google images, blow them up onto Word, and print them out.

I just put a mini in a box 6x7x7 priority mil box. I print out a return label through paypal and included that in the box as well. Shipped it off and that was it.

Cards are the easiest way. Customs are fun and relatively easy to make once you get the hang of it. Photos are nice too, but cost more to print, ship, and even find..
