Custom Issues
Ok, I have spent a good while on this now and need to turn to the pros. I have designed a simple custom (more like my own photo with a border/text) and set it up as 750x1050 per suggestion on here. When I go to print with my HP Photosmart 4400 printer, I am not able to print 2 cards on one 4x6. When I select full bleed it cancels the 2 on 1 sheet option. If I leave it alone, both of my images are shrunk and have white border on both sides. I also tried enabling Minimize Margins in Advanced tab to no avail. Any ideas?

I would make a blank image that is 4 x 6 and 300 resolution. And I would move the two cards into that image leaving a little room in between and you should not have any problems.

Well, maybe that's it then... cause I thought I solved my prob by doing a collage and placing two pics side by side, borderless, which looked right in print preview for my printer and the program, but when I printed it, it still cut a good portion off of top. Also, where can I drop to 300dpi? In my printer driver or the program? My printer is locked at 600dpi in the driver. Thanks for the help!

I don't know how to lower the dpi of the printer. I just print in photoshop and I don't change any of my printer settings.

This is step by step how I printed two cards on one piece of 4x6 paper.
1st I opened a new image at 4x6 and 300 resolution.

I took the two cards I wanted to print and I use merge visible to make the card one file.

I then move both of the card files to the blank 4x6 image once I have both the cards I want to print on the 4x6 I merge visible.

I rotate the image.

Next I click on print.

I click printer settings so I can change the paper size to 4x6.

I then click scale to media and them I print.

I have never had a problem printing like this
