Thrashers GM talks about his new goalie coach, rule experiments and the vacant captaincy in part one of a two-part interview

Thrashers senior web site coordinator Thrashers GM Rick Dudley has had a busy offseason, re-shaping his roster through trades and free agency while also putting together an all-new coaching staff that includes head coach Craig Ramsay, associate coach John Torchetti, assistant coach Mike Stothers, and goaltending consultant Clint Malarchuk who was hired August 19.

Dudley took some time out of his hectic summer schedule to talk to atlantathrashers.com about what how the roster is taking shape, which prospects he thinks could challenge for roster spots, the vacant captaincy, what Clint Malarchuk brings to the table, the recent NHL research and development camp, and much more.
