Who is Tom Wandell and why is everyone bidding like there is no end for this card?

Is it an SP even though it is /999? Anisimov is also a redemption. Is that going to be in hot demand/low supply as well?

This sounds similar to Filatov's SPA FW Auto and supposedly how low in supply that is, even though it is /999.

When I was collecting the set I had never sen one and beckett has it priced at 10 higher then the Evander Kane fw auto.....Maybe it is SPed or something

For some reason SP Authentic redemptions always do this. Tuukka Rask was a redemption back in 07-08 and his was at one point (might still be?) priced as high as Price/Kane/Toews even though he wasn't an established NHL goalie at the time. Same with Filatov, as you mentioned. I don't know if they actually seed out fewer than the /999 redemption cards or what, but it's the same story every year.

honestly, i have never seen a tuukka rask spa fw auto /999 or his spa fw auto patch /100. does it even exist even though it is on the checklist?

so this year's redemption is anisimov, wandell, and bozak i believe. maybe UD is holding on to it as replacements for the future. makes no sense.

Caputi is also a redemption and his are going for around the same.

On the UD FB page, they mentioned that the 07/08 Rask FW Autos are being prepared for pack out...

wow after 2 years? if rask spa ever goes live, I would like to pick one up! hence I will be one of the guilty ones adding fuel to the fire for why these redemptions are worth more.

also saw someone post they received the rask spa fw auto finally. I already tried offering for it and let's just say i guess the demand for it will be very high.

Supply and demand at work, even though these are supposedly numbered to /999. It's already hard enough to get my hands on Caputi and Wandell. I'm sure Bozak and Anisimov was looking that way but since I've seen it live, the value has somewhat settled.

Anyways, just blabbing. back to trading everyone!

lol. Not surprised. Set builders can finally fill in that hole.

I'm sure 999 copies will come out eventually. Figure that 2/3s of the people who redeemed them probably asked for replacements. The other 3rd will go out, people will pay crazy amounts..... and the UD will use the leftovers as replacements for something else.

Well see thats the thing- I speculate that not nearly 999 redemption cards were packed out. I've personally seen 5 cases of SPA opened and not one Caputi or Wandell.

Based on what I saw last year, not nearly 999 Filatovs were packed out either.

And the Filatovs were not included as redemption replacments, which some of the 08-09 redemptions were (Sbisa namely).
