Steve Yzerman Rements card a couple Questions.
So I pulled an awesome Steve Yzerman Remnants Auto/Patch card from OPC premiere. I am thinking of selling it since I am trying to build up my Pay Pal so I cant try and get a Case of SPA next season and try and build the set since PK Subban will be in the set.
Problem is a couple folds I have only just restarted selling on ebay(2 sales so far $20 and $150) and I think that might hurt my chances of selling. SO I was thinking of waiting until I had a couple dozen sales before I put it up. But will this hurt me since OPC premiere is hot right now but what about in 2-3 months from now.
Also so far no one has had what I wanted in trade but anyone have a guess of the Value of this card? The closest I have found was a 2 piece patch /10 with auto that sold for $303

Note: I am also conidering keeping this card in my PC if I can be convinced it will hold its value.
I currently collecting Montreal Centennial Inks and other auto from that set. Also "Franchise" Former Canadien players i.e. HOF'ers, But I already have a bunch of Patrick Roy.

It's a $150.00 Yzerman Card on eBay. That what something like that goes for. $300 only if numbered less than #15.

If I'm not mistaken, the Yzerman card he has is 1 of 5.
Even for the money you'd get, that is a card to consider holding on to for a while...
As for the lack of sales hurting your potential to sell, I'd say it won't be a huge deal. I sold two watches on Ebay for the first time, with less than 20 or so feedback at the time (all as a buyer) and I received fair MV for both pieces.

It's worth hanging onto, if it's a 1/5.
I have several Yzerman old Jerseys from 96-97 thru to 2000 and I won't let them go simply because some of them are incredible pulls of 1:2,500 packs. That makes them very limited.
I'm not a big fan of 1, 2, 3, and 4 card Hockey boxes that cost a fortune, with SP only garbage in them. It only cheapens the hobby, and makes things far too easy to pull.

You can get couple nice hundreds for that card.
Yzerman sell pretty well on ebay.
Yzerman auto are expensive + these are sick patches and /5.
I'd say run an auction with a 0.99$ starting bid.

Thats a very nice swatch and is hard signed. I keep my higher end stuff like that, but with very specific cards I'd trade for. You could break 3 cases and not hit a Subban, but that should get you one with a great swatch easy. People have said Yzermans have come down a bit as his stuff is in trading cards again, but I wouldn't take a loss on mine, so technically they're off the market. Very nice hit.

Why start it at $0.99? I would start it much higher since it is free to list items on ebay as auctions until the end of Sept 7th.
I would say at least $300-$400 for that card. Maybe higher.

Even if he starts it at 0.99$, it will sell for 3-400$ + for sure...yzerman collector are hardcore so who cares about the 0.99$ starting bid.
But yeah, if there are any free listing on ebay, i guess start it higher...Last edited by The Germinator; 09-04-2010 at 07:43 AM.
