    Are you talking abut a peice of a basketball on a card? If so then I don't see what's weird or different about that.

    I have four(4) of the same paul pierce gu ball card from the now defunct "edge" company, also a rip hammilton from the same set, I personally like the gu ball cards.

    There not the uncommon..I have an andre miller GU ball card and see a bunch of GU ball cards at card shows and card shops i go to..

    well 1 wierd thing was i got that in a pack and 3 rookies and a autograph in that 1 pack
