mark prior is back in baseball.

i was thrilled to read this article on espn a few minutes ago

    http://sports.espn.go.com/dallas/mlb...ory?id=5529159

im a die hard cubs fan and i still am a fan of mark prior. its awesome to see him pitching again even if it is just the independant league and im glad a mlb team sees enough to take a chance on him. hopefully he finally has it figured out and can still craft a career. even if its only as a reliever it would be nice to see him back in the game.

I think he can make it as a reliever in the big leagues, like Kerry Wood.

i do to and i really hope he can. im a huge fan of this kid. hes only 30 so if he can get back on the right track then there is no reason he cant pitch for another 10 years and have a good career.

    Very true.
Not only is he only 30, but also he's 30 with less wear on his arm than most 30 yr olds. Even tho he's been injured, he hasn't pitched for the past 5 years.

Great story. I'd love to see him pitch well and revive his career.
