P90X: Thoughts-Reviews?
So I believe a while back a member or two stated they were either getting or thinking of going to use that P90X workout. I was wondering of the results so far IF you have used it. Also I am looking for thoughts from others from ppl that might of known someone that used it.
Thanks.

I used it... got through about 60 days and we just got too busy... When i started i was at 315 pounds.... Decently athletic (Im 6'6") and got down to about 295 with the program. My house is not tall enough to do chin-ups (which you will do a TON of them) so i did a modified version of it. If you stick to the plan though i am pretty sure it will work for anyone. I will say though you have to be committed to doing it or you wont get into it... it is TOUGH to stay up with Tony and he will start to appear in your dreams after a while lol.

My friend is nearing the end of the 90 days and he has become much more toned. He has put on at least 5-10 pounds if muscle. You better believe it takes discipline though, I did a few days of it with him when we were on vacation together and it's pretty intense. If you consider walking up stairs to be strenuous then you might not want to jump into this workout right away lol.

If you're sedentary or barely work out or your goals are to simply lean up and gain a wee bit of muscle, P90X is *excellent.*
If you're trying to gain 20 pounds of muscle and be cut, you're better of reading up about diet and different means strength training.
It all varies depending on goals, but P90X is damn decent enough for most people.

I plan on doing P90X in the next few months. I've only heard good things about it.

I did P90X for while when I was in Iraq (it is big over there). It worked a lot.
Now I am doing something called Insanity because it has more cardio on it and I love it. Both of them work really well if you stick to it. Remember that you will also need to do a diet or healthy eating to see more results
