I love hearing about athletes doing awesome things like that. Sometimes I feel like some players do it "because they have to". But this was an awesome and sincere action by Dwight. Like you, I thought he was cocky, but I've changed my mind!

The NBA needs 31 more players just like this one for each team. No more Lebron's Wade's or Bosh's.

Coming out of High School, I heard people were high on this kid because he was a Christian kid, who didn't have what these other players had in their background.
Then Dwight came out cocky. (I lived in Charlotte, NC at the time) I actually thought Charlotte got the better player after I saw that.
But I was wrong after the Shaq incident. I realized Dwight was just a playful but sincere kid. He was just a big goofball. And after this story, I realized that he is a great individual than he is a ball player.

where is everyone getting that dwight is cocky from. confident?? lebron would be cocky. i never heard dwight speak in third person. i have always liked dwight.
