Another rookie! My name is Joe, and I've been a baseball card collector off and on for 30 years. I am a rabid Red Sox fan and collect the hell out of Wade Boggs cards (Red Sox Wade Boggs cards, that is...none of that Yankees/Rays nonsense!), and have finally begun my Ted Williams collection.

I love this site so much that after lurking for a few days, I signed up for the VIP account to help support the site, and for the added benefits. I've checked out the rules and also love the inventory manager, and have a few questions if that's cool:

- is there a card limit on the inventory manager? I thought I read somewhere that there was, but I cannot find that information now.
- in the VIP forum, can I participate in the Guess The Score contests as a complete rook?
- what is the story behind Photobucket? Why is it the preferred image host of choice?
- in the VIP membership description, it says you get 100 gallery images. Where are those? Is that tied to Photobucket?

There's still so much to learn and to see (I've been poking around in the blogs section...that's another great place to keep track of your inventory!), and I'm sure I've have many more questions, but that's good for now. I look forward to many years here, getting to know you folks, and to making sure I do my part to keep this place the best site on the web for card collecting!

Until you reach a Trader Rating of 20
you will be required to send first on ALL transactions (buying ,trading & SELLING)
I would suggest you trade with established members until you reach the 20 trader rating before
you attempt a trade with another new member

I'll see if I can't answer some of these questions for you.

- is there a card limit on the inventory manager? I am not familiar with there being a limit on this. You should be able to add as many cards as you want to your inventory. - in the VIP forum, can I participate in the Guess The Score contests as a complete rook? Yes you can. You're a VIP so you get all the perks that come with it.

- what is the story behind Photobucket? Why is it the preferred image host of choice? It's all personal preference. I don't like it and use Picasa instead, but that's just me.

- in the VIP membership description, it says you get 100 gallery images. Where are those? Is that tied to Photobucket? You can use PB to link images to your SCF gallery, or you can upload pics from your computer into your gallery. You can find more information on this in our tutorials forum.
