How would you handle this situation?

Beckett BV prices a card at $20, you get the card personally signed by the athlete on the card, does the price go up? How would you handle this situation when it comes to a trade?

If it was me trading for it, without a cert of authinticity the card value goes WAY down. If you had it signed I think it is worth more to you, but less to the person trading for it.

Card would need to be authenticated to increase the value.

i agree with all the responses...definitely kills the value, as no one knows that its actually legit
