Hello all
Hi ya'll.I just wanted to take a minute, since I am brand new to the board and introduce myself. I collect only football cards and I dont suppose I would be considered a hard core collector. I buy mostly retail because thats what my budget and my wife allow but nevertheless have made some pretty nice pulls including GU 2002 Vick, GU Favre, GU McNair as well as about 10 or so others not so noteworthy. Unfortunately I have never pulled an Auto card. I do on occasion buy hobby boxes off of ebay and sometimes visit my local card store for some hobby packs, mostly older stuff. My collection currently stands at about 5000 cards ranging in age from 73 to current from every manufacturer, my fav card manufacturer is Pacific. I know they folded or were bought or something and was pretty bummed out by that news. As far as specific players or teams, I dont target any. I am a die hard Bronco fan and my most prized card is indeed my Topps Elway rookie #63. I got it as a wedding present from my sister in law. Its ungraded but Im pretty certain it would fetch a 10. Anyway, its the only card that I wont part with. Well, nice to be part of the community. Be talking to ya'll.

Welcome aboard. I am fairly new here as well. This seems to be a great bunch of people here on this board.
You have a true classic in that Elway card. That is one to be proud of for sure!
Keep up the good work and enjoy yourself here.

welcome buenacolt: 1 thing you'll find out, all your cards have value if someone else wants them. So don't sell your collection short. For example, if you have any Viking cards, that I don't have, I'd trade for them. Click on my name, then go to my homepage, and you'll see all the cards that I'd trade for cards I need. Good luck, and btw, tell your wife it's an investment, not a hobby.
Go Vikes!
