I am the kid who thought he would retire on his 80s/90s box sets

Hello everyone.

I collected cards as a kid with the same delusion we all had, and had the misfortune of collecting in the late 80s/early 90s.

I started getting my feet a little bit wet beginning a month or so ago when I'd buy a blaster box every now and again, and I've decided it's a hobby I'd love to get back into.

Just today I opened a box each of 2008 and 2009 Bowman Chrome and look at this little gem I pulled:

2008 Chrome Orange Refractor Auto Matt Latos, #06/25

Anyone have any idea of a ballpark value for this one?

Hello Bomark.

I was kind of one of those kids too, only I wanted to run a card shop for a living instead of retire on my cards. And yes, I started collecting about that same time frame too. I can't help you on the Latos, I didn't see any recent sales on eBay but maybe someone will have an idea what it could go for.

Please be sure and look over our new member rules when you get a chance. We also recently launched our new Inventory Manager. You may want to use that to track your collection and maybe find people who have something you need.

And if you need any assistance getting around the site you can contact me or another staff member and we'll help you out.
