We should split a case

What are everyone's thoughts about a bunch of people chipping in and splitting a case of something from Dave & Adams? I remember we did this a while ago in the hockey forums and it was pretty sweet. If youre in you should probably state what kind of price range you can swing and what sets you would prefer.

Personally, I'd like to go for something upper-mid range like SPX, SP Auth, Contenders, Absolute Memorabilia, SP game USed, or something like that. Leaf Ltd, Topps Sig, and Ultimate are too expensive. Maybe a case of Longevity would be cool.

You can pick a lot of those for less at Gibraltar. I know Leaf R&S was like $82 last time i was there, Sweet Spot at $95. I remember those two. To bad we can't get the case at wholesale :)

Ya i would almost do sweet spot if you did that and i still might but The price has been jumping up on the sight for it. it went from 95 a box in to 99 to 101. I went to by a box from them and saw the price was 95 a box. I went back to order the box the next day and it jumped to 99. Then i was going to order another one and checked the price and it had jumped up again. but if you were going to do sweet spot i would be in probly for a box and maybe two

sounds good to me too. Im contacting a seller that goes on beckett all the time. http://www.shnabbles.com/ to see if he could beat the price for sweet spot case better than dave and adams. I told him the case buy thing may never take off but that we would still like a quote. check out the link and tell me what ya think. i think there single boxes though are 108 but that is still not bad considering i just bought one at 117 at a hobby store.

I just got a email responce from him "As of right now a case would be $990 + 3% if you use a credit card or paypal. That include shipping."
