Upper Deck Comes Through!!!

I had a couple of redemption cards sitting at UD forever (8 months). I finally had enough, and called them about a month ago. I kept getting promises that they would replace them with something comparable. Never received anything. Then I got ahold of a manager there, explained my situation, and he said he would take care of it and send something that should make me happy for my wait and being put off. Remember, he was only replacing two redemption autos that couldn't be filled, and asked who my favorite teams were. So for all the waiting and hassle, he sends me these 12 yes 12 cards:

The teams I asked for were Chargers, Blackhawks, and Canadiens. I didn't get any of the specific players I asked for (Fouts, Winslow Sr, Tomlinson, Mikita, Hall, Hull, Beliveau), but who can complain with this lot of cards??? The only bummer is the Flutie auto is in a Bills uniform and he's no longer a Charger, but hey, I'M NOT COMPLAINING! Way to go Upper Deck, this is one happy camper!!!

Congrats on the cards. Just goes to show that Upper Deck cares more about their customers than Topps and Fleer. I've never had anything but trouble with Topps and Fleer as far as redemptions go. But, Upper Deck always goes that extra mile when all you ask for is the inch they owe you.

Now that you mention that, i'm going to check UD and see if Willis McGahee ever did the signing for the Finite HG Redemption I pulled about a month ago.

I checked the new Beckett and was shocked to see that the Mahovlich and Lafleur are double up arrows, listed as XSP (less then 55 produced). The Lafleur is $150 and the Mahovlich is $60. There are none for sale on EBAY, and the only one I could find ended last month which was a Mahovlich and it sold for $59.89! Looks to me like these are in high demand and no one has them for sale, or aren't willing to sell them. Guess it pays to be patient with these redemptions, and get the right manager on the phone when you call to complain.

Uh ohh............I hope there is no issue with Topps for my 04 football Pristine Personal Endorsments Gold Kevin Jones Auto /25........eek I really really want that card to come back! Been waiting for 4 months now!

Does anyone know if the Jones is live yet?

Plus im waiting on an UD Dual Endorsements Reggie Williams/Greg Jones......Im actuallly hoping that I get replacments now......lol .........actually been waiting for a while for it over 6 months.
