Is Black Diamond & Ice now ONE ???

    http://www.blowoutcards.com/index.ph...oducts_id=4756

Just curious if they combined products because they are not aloud to release as many?

or are they doing a promotion to get us excited for ice??

is this like how series 2 has victory rookies in it?

now they say we get an extra pack (bonus per box) and all

    I'm just lost for words

I was never a fan for BD and I have mixed feelings about this year

so we get an extra rookie for a different product but you still cant give us one auto per box????

what do you all think? buy and it will be loaded? or dont buy because ... IDK?

I know the die-hard set collectors eat up BD but again I'm on the fence

maybe that makes sense then, hopefully UD loads up the boxes then

why wouldnt UD combine UD1 and UD2 instead of BD and ICE though ?????????????????????

and will premier combine with Ultimate?? wouldnt that be crazy

and does anyone even like SPX??

Well they aren't combining Black Diamond & Ice but just adding a bonus Ice pack into each BD box which will contain 1 Ice rookie and 4 base cards. Everyone other set from Ice has been Iced. Also UDS2 is getting axed but Rookie Materials will be in SPx along with SPx Rookie Jersey cards. 1 bonus Ice pack will also be in each box of SPx.

i guess ice is gone cause their base cards sucked anyways and people only want the acetate cards. so they're just hits now in the BD product.

Well, let's look at the bigger picture here - Ice is gone because UD can only make 11 products instead of 22 this year. Something had to go. I hope that the acetate autos find a home elsewhere as I love the design!

Ice is not being released as a stand-alone product in 2010-11. It's being spread out across a number of other releases (Black Diamond, SPx, perhaps more) as a special insert. Think of it as UD's way to circumvent the cap.

Well maybe this is a good thing, at least in my eyes

I agree skyride39 that the iCE base always sucked and UD dividing the sought after rookies to BD and SPX (2 products I was never really fond of)

Now I can say I would actually buy some boxes of each

So at least in my situation, this was probably a smart move on UD

Still wish you would get at least one auto from BD, but hey maybe I'll get lucky any way

thanks for all the input everyone !!!
