Beckett
Well, I was searching on beckett, and searched "Evgeni Malkin auto-facts".
They only had the 07-08, and the 08-09 version. And I was curious, because Im sure that there is an 09-10 version.
So, I looked up the Sidney Crosby 09-10 auto-facts, and they didn't have it. They only have the 06-07, 07-08, and the 08-09.
So I looked up some more players, and it seems that beckett hasn't included the 09-10 auto-facts on their website yet.
My question is: Will they update their site, and put the 09-10 auto-facts when the 10-11 Artifacts product comes out?
Just seemed odd to me, that they have the 09-10 SOTTs on their website but not the 09-10 Auto-facts.
Is it common for beckett to do that?
Thanks,
Andrew

usually they update the list within the same week as the product comes out... try searching Evgeni Malkin and then you can search through his stuff and just put in artifacts and then all his artifacts stuff comes up

From my experiences, yes this is a common issue for Beckett. Many of there checklists are incomplete or inaccurate, much like Upper Deck's website.

Thanks guys
I searched "Evgeni Malkin Autofacts" and it worked...I found the 09-10 version. I guess I wasn't supposed to put the little dash (-)
I searched "Auto-Facts" and it only had the 07-08, and 08-09 auto-facts. i serached "Autofacts", and it had the 09-10 version.
Strange. But glad I found it.

Yeah they're very specific with their search results.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

ahhh, I see why now.
In previous years, they had "Auto-Facts" with the little dash (-)
In the 09-10 product, it says on the card, "Autofacts" (without the dash). Very confusing.

the problem is not the search but not being constant in entering set name. Then again it may be a decision that come from UD and the decided to remove the dash and Beckett just pursue the change. Then again it may have been a mistake made by UD and Beckett again just reported the info they got.
I know because we have the same issue here with our database.
Artifacts also have entry in the set name with "UD Artifacts" and now they are "Artifacts". Is this a decision from UD or a error in the chain of transmission? I don't know.
This is why it does get confusing and not because of bad programming but more on entry not being steady year after year. So sometime you have to query wider range to see the card like Artifacts only. The same thing can happen here with our inventory search. Programmer are at the mercy of user entry and since some write thing differently, it sometime will not match a search.

When I try and search on Beckett I use the least number of characters as possible.. may have to look through a list of 10 or more cards but it's less frustrating that trying to pull up 1 in a search result.
