Here's the UD facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/UpperDeck?ref=ts
You can't ask 'em question in private.

They have no removed me from their page and blocked me from commenting.

One man can make a difference.
You know, I gave them props where due and held them accountable for their faults. This was an erroneous move on their part.

It's not that UD hasn't done anything wrong, please point out where I said that.
It's the way in which you are going about this that is wrong. If you can't see that, then I'd say there's probably no chance of reasoning with you as you're blinded by your own greatness.

Just out of curiousity, how would it be an erroneous move for Upper Deck to block you from their Facebook page? I think it's quite clear to them that you don't plan on buying their product and they don't want the hassle of deleting negative comments they don't want on their page.
I'm not trying to start anything, but like I said, I'm not sure how it was a bad move. Either way they know you won't speak highly of them regardless of being blocked or not.Last edited by flemingc04; 10-03-2010 at 06:36 PM. Reason: spelling and grammar errors.

That's not true at all dude, I give props where due. For example, go through my threads and see how much love I have given CS, what has traditionally been the WORST part of their company.
Also, when I like a design or concept, I give that props too, look through again some of my comments on this years Cup.
The main thing I have blasting them of late for not getting a checklist up in a timely fashion, which, honestly is smart business on their part.
Because of that conveniently late posting, people can't see how little BIG hits are in there and how much junk IS in the product and they will continue to break like addicts in hopes of hitting "gold".
On the flip side, they promised it on multiple occasions and keep failing to deliver.
So saying I am only negative about them is inaccurate. As far as how it is an error on their part to cut me, I dunno, I think my thoughts and opinions are fairly well received and heard in this hobby.
Just sayin.

Any new designs start out in the other 3 Sports first.
The big reason in my mind that Upper Deck hasn't a clue about Hockey? They use US College Jargon in naming their cards.
ie: Sensational Sophomores, Freshman Flashback ????
Give me an ™™™™g break here. This game is firstly a Canadian game, it's the 2nd most popular Sport in Europe, and the number 1 Sport in Eastern Europe. The jargon used on the cards is not compliant with any Hockey terms.
Goal scorers aren't Lamplighters, sorry, Defensemen aren't Rear Guards.
UD needs to learn the game. They haven't a clue.

Barrie, in no way did I say that you don't say anything good about Upper Deck. While you do say a lot of negative things about Upper Deck, I do agree that you do give props here and there.
What I was refering to was Upper Deck's perspective and that they might see the negativity coming from you from many angles (UD blog, Facebook, in person, etc.) and in their mind they see that there is no way you will buy their product, so why bother spending time with someone who won't by anyway? For example: If a particular car company saw a bunch of negative complaints from me (maybe along with some props here and there) and they get a good feeling that I will never be a customer (possibly even because they know I am a devoted customer to another company as well), why would they focus on answering my questions when they can spend time with their current customers and other potential customers? Even if I have a few good comments within a bunch of negativeity, it's the negativity that will stand out to them and again it goes back to why they would bother with someone who won't be a customer?.
Like I said, I'm not trying to start anything. But I think this could be Upper Deck's way of thinking.
