Confused about printing plates
In looking at the UD checklist for a player I collect, Jhonas Enroth, I see that there are Cup printing plates for the Cup, OPCP, UD Black, SPX and SPA. So that should be four plates for each, and a total of 20 plates.
However, one plate I have in hand is from SPGU, and I have others on the way from Artifacts and UD (Young Guns). So is my assumption of 20 wrong, and am I looking at a far higher number?

I would guess more than 20, I would look over you collection and figure out which sets Enroth had a rc in last year and times that number by four. That sould give you a better idea of how many plates Enroth has in the cup Hope that helps.

I had the same question. I have a couple that are from victory and CC. Does anyone know if Upper Deck updates the checklist to include all printing plates?

forget the checklist. if your guy has a rookie, there's a corresponding plate x 4 (one for each color)

There is likely 60-80 plates
I am not to sure if I will really focus on many Kulikov plates and more one of his autographed shields from this years cup.

I've noticed the same thing. The checklist didn't include many of them (CC, MVP, OPC, Artifacts).

As far as I can tell there should be plates from the following: Artifacts, Black Diamond, Collector's Choice, OPC, OPCP, SPA, SPGU, SPX, The Cup, Trilogy, Ultimate Collection, Ultra, Upper Deck, UD Black and UD Ice.
Unless I'm missing something, that's sixty of them......a little more than the checklist states!

To add to your list I have seen Victory and MVP plates. I have not seen any Ultra, Champs, or BAP plates.
