Hey i live in syracuse and was planning a trip to buffalo for the sharks... have the sabres been stopping after morning skate or do they still just drive right by? Also would you be willing to tell me what hotels teams are staying at? Seems like everyone in that city doesnt like to share that kind of info.

I don't do the Sabres, just visiting teams. And I usually don't know which hotels to go to from my connection until I am in my car about to drive downtown.

Nobody up here likes to share information and if you share with a new person you're pretty much hated for it. But at the same time if you don't share with the group people begin to hate you. It's an odd dynamic.

This is what makes in person graphing so lame. I know exactly how it is. I was the "new guy" in Charlotte when I lived there and had to figure everything out for myself. I'd ask people stuff they'd say they didn't know, I'd figure it out and they'd show up. Eventually they realized I knew what I was doing and stopped lying to me because I'd figure it out anyway. 10 people of 15 people, a guy isn't going to change if he signs or not. The only time I'd hold onto a tip is if I honestly think I've got a way to get 1 on 1 with a guy or the knowledge is so rare only a few others might show up. Info like a hotel is so common no one is going to know how somebody else found out. Why can't you just tell him where the teams you have seen so far were? I'm sure a lot of teams stay at the same places.

Well, he didn't ask me for that information. But even if he did I probably wouldn't disclose it. This thread is for me to log who I get signed and to share the experience with others... what makes you think you have the right to come into my thread and tell me how to act? You know how autograph hounds act... you gotta live with it. So if you can step out of my thread (unless you have something important to say) I'd greatly appreciate it.

Woah, a bit defensive? Doesn't really seem like you are "sharing your experiences with others" when you won't share any information with them so they can actually experience it.

Sorry, I thought I had "the right" to post my opinion in here because it is an online message board where people post their opinions and discuss. I was just trying to help the other guy out.

Since when did sharing my own experiences with the athletes mean I would be sharing my own personal information with them?

Get over yourself. If you really want to help the guy out, give him your own tips. Don't come in here telling me to disclose information and guide people when I am only using this thread to document the autographs I acquire and the things that happened in the process.

Alright, here is my own tip for anyone trying to graph the NHL in Buffalo and looking for the visiting team, start here, Hyatt Regency: Two Fountain Plaza, Buffalo, New York, 14202.
