    Flyersfan In Person Success Thread

Thought I would make this thread to post all my in person success's. I will start one in the TTM Success forum also once I get some stuff out and start getting it back.

Have a couple signings coming up over the next month so hope to be adding more to here shortly.

Here are my in person success's so far:

Got this from Cardboard Heroes www.cheroes.com , a very reputable dealer in these parts.

Got this from another autograph collector on here, signature is dead on and dont doubt it a bit.

Got this from a friend on another collectors site, he is very reputable and it came with a COA from the company doing the signing.

Very nice stuff. Votto was very tough in-person in Sarasota when the Reds were here for spring training. So congratulations on the autos and best of luck on your future hounding and TTM successes.

Yea actually Votto did a FREE public signing at a grocery store in Northern Kentucky a few months ago and it was one per person but I took the wife and kids....lol.

Went to a couple signings today:

A mall about 25 miles north of me always has a card show every year in which they have some autograph guest's, usually either Buckeye players or Bengals players. Today they had Ickey Woods (former Bengals running back for those that dont know). SO I went and got him to sign an old SI, first auto was free and then $5 for each additional.

Then back to my local card shop who is developing a pretty good relationship with the DWA (Dynamic Wrestling Alliance LLC.) a small wrestling entity. So today they had Marty Jannetty (former member of the WWF tag team The Rockers for those that dont know) in to do a signing, autographs $5 each. Couldnt find anything unique in time for the signing so I had to settle for an 8x10 but was really trying to find an old WWF magazine or action figure of him. Marty was really cool and we were all just sitting around the card shop joking about too much drinking last night and Shawn Michaels .

Yea he was pretty cool, I asked him if he would write WWF on my pic when he signed it and he said "I'll write anything you want on it"....lol. Pretty cool day all in all. That card show up north is having James Brooks (former Bengals running back) today but I dont think I am going to make the drive back up especially since I couldnt find anything for him to sign other than an 8x10 or Bengals mini. Another note on wrestler signing's the same card shop that I got Jannetty at had Brutus the Barber Beffcake in about a month ago but I missed that one.

Awesome success. When I was scrolling down to get to your new post I quickly saw the Marty Jannetty photo and thought it was the lead signer to Stryper oh god I miss the 80's. The SI looks great too.

Went to the annual Dayton Flyers basketball Red & Blue game last night. This is an annual scrimmage where half the team plays the other half and it is just a way for all the fans to come in and see some of the vets and some of the new guys play for the first time. Well before the games they have autograph sessions with the womens volleyball, womens basketball, and mens basketball teams. So here are the two newest additions to my autograph and Dayton Flyers collections.

2010-2011 Team signed ball (the one above is from 2008-2009, I forgot to mention that when I posted it)

And a Chris Wright jersey signed with a silver Sharpie (for those not familiar with Chris I posted some links under these pictures of some of his highlight). He is almost a gaurenteed NBA'er next year.

And probably my favorite as of right now.

Ok so these aren't In Person success's but I wanted to show off the new "gets" for my collection.

First off, I went on Leah Remini's web site and ordered an autographed 8x10. I didnt specify to do so but she personalized it to me which is fine with me as it is just going straight in to my PC.

Next I made a trade with an up and coming good boardie: ugadawgs3. I traded some basketball cards for the three pieces below to add to my collection. Sorry for the bad pics, I REALLY need a new camera.

    Jeff Francoeur autographed Sports Illustrated

Tom Glavine autographed Official National League Baseball

Barry Bonds autographed Official Major League Baseball w/ COA from 25 Barry Bonds Authenticated

Feel free to comment on these or any of my autographed items as I appreciate the feedback and love to discuss sports memorabilia.

    Enjoy! :)
