    Go Shaun Hill!!!!

He is the heart of the Lions' new offense. The Lions better continue with Hill like what the Patriots did to Tom Brady.

Once again, just because you are a Hill homer because he played for SF (you probably think SF will win the Super Bowl), if Stafford was in, Lions would be 3-2, maybe even 4-1. Hill finally had a good game today, you need to watch games, and not look at stats to see how he really is. Usually he dumps it off and the WR/RB/TE do the work.

I watched the game, and he impressed me the most with his decision. Stafford will be benched like Drew Bledsoe.

Hill has been playing out of his mind but I think everyone is ready for Stafford to play once he is ready.

I would not go that far at all. Not saying Hill is better, but he does have a winning record as a player and experience. I don't think you can say he just dumps it off.

I unfortunatly have to wach all the Lions games because A) i'm in a pool so i'm intrigued to see myself win, and B) its the only game on until 4:30..

All Hill does is screen plays to Best, 3 yard dumps to Pettigrew/Scheffler and then occasionally throws it up for Calvin to get..For anyone to say Hill deserves to be the starter is lying to themselves, Hill is a backup, will Stafford be the answer? who knows, but his potential is so much better than Shaun Hill..that and the Lions are paying him a ridiculous amount of money..

This all comes from an Eagles fan as well..

Alex Smith is also type of QB who dumps off to a RB or TE. However, his passing accuracy is worst than Hill. Let's not forget that the Rams aren't new facing against Hill. They've played against Hill twice last semester and again for today, so they obviously know what will Hill do. He still torches the Rams.

I believe he's a good pass reader. He is pretty much like Trent Dilfer part Duex. It's still funny to watch him pwning with his simple pass.

One thing I don't like about NFL camera view, they always focus on the scrimmage line area. I wish the camera zooms out to see the whole field, so I can see why Hill will throw to a RB with recievers down the hill. Alex Smith is worst, because I've heard the fans in the game said Crabtree was wide open in the deep field all day.

I'm a pretty big Lions fan and I will say .... I hate Shaun Hill. He doesn't make plays. He throws the ball up to Calvin and HOPES he comes down with it, or he dumps off like someone else said.

Putting up 3 TDs on the Rams does not a good QB make. I agree with whoever said Stafford would make the Lions 3-2 or 4-1. They have the tools, they can just never stay healthy. Oh and the defense is awful, though today might be a sign of things to come (I hope!)

I watched the game, and he impressed me the most with his decision. Stafford will be benched like Drew Bledsoe.

First of all, Bledsoe was like 30 when Brady came along. And it's not like Shaun Hill is a young guy, he's pushing 30 now. Plus we've all seen what Shaun Hill has to offer. He's a serviceable guy, may even have a good game once in a while, but is he a Tom Brady? No. No no no.

The Lions spent a #1 pick on Stafford. To bench him would be absolute lunacy. If he were awful, then sure, but to me, Stafford looks like the superior quarterback in that draft (not Sanchez). Shaun Hill will regain his rightful spot as Matt Stafford's clipboard holder when Stafford is ready to go.

i agree that stafford goes right back to starting when he comes in. i'm can't say that im not impressed that hill has been able to come in and do a pretty good job, but i feel like stafford would be doing better.
also, stafford was the #1 pick and is the future of the team. the lions aren't contenders at this point so there is no reason to stick with hill. put stafford back in when he's healthy, and build for the future.
