I got my 1st bad Feedback on ebay...
hey, i got my 1st bad feedback..while having like 970 pos feedbacks
Here is the listing:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...#ht_1115wt_911
the reason i got a bad feedback buyer said, he got a red jersey when the picture had a blue jersey
My listing has both..i sold both cards the same week, and the 1st buyer chose
the blue jersey one
So i send the red jersey one to that buyer
So now he is unhappy
What should i do:
A) Refund the buyer..and then try to make ebay remove the neg
b) contest the feedback directly with ebay, saying the buyer got the item he paid for
c) let it go
What do you think?

How is the neg going to get removed? I tried for months in 1999, when a buyer didn't pay, yet still negged me. eBay didn't do a damn thing.

Contest it, and post the buyers ID here so people can block that idiot from bidding on our stuff.

sorry to hear about this. It's too bad you didn't message him first which one you were sending before sending it just to hear what he says. For $3, I think it is worth trying to remove the neg feedback by refunding and seeing if ebay can change it. Or can the buyer change it?

you shouldnt list different auctions withing one listing, kinda skirting the rules there.

for a $3 card, I'd make him happy. Just ask him what you can do to make it right, it is against Ebay rules to blackmail for feedback, so if he asks for something unreasonable, keep a copy of the email and let Ebay know. As goingback mentioned, the way you ran the auction might be against ebays rules so contacting them may cause problems. It does sound like you were selling a second card with no way for ebay to get their cut of of the second sale. In the future, list quantity:2 in the auction. Ebay is worse then the mob when messin with their money :)

If you check the history, it shows pretty clearly that two were sold. It says "2 sold" on the right side, and indicates sales on August 15 and September 3rd.
I believe the buyer just made an incorrect assumption.

why would it be against ebay i did quantities x 2..
and added 2 pictures, to make it simpler..
the only thing it changes is 5 cents insertion fee, i dont think its a big deal
ebay got their cut both times
anyways i already messaged him asking if i could do anything to make it better
lol
