Arenas Fakes Injury
Gilbert Arenas has admitted to faking a knee injury recently in order to get teammate, Nick Young, some playing time. The ploy worked - Young started and scored a team high 24 points.
Do you think Arenas will/should be punished?
I know he was trying to make a nice gesture but from a coaches point of view, you don't want your players lying to you. What's to stop him from doing it again when he's just in a bad mood? And can Arenas really afford any time off?Didn't he have enough free time last season?

Does he really mean this "get teammate, Nick Young, some playing time"? Or he just doesn't feel like playing a meaningless game and want to chill out and get paid?
He is so full of himself. It is like telling Nick Young "If I don't sit out, you don't get to play. Thanks me now, brother"

Even if he was telling the truth, its like telling the team he's better than all of them, and can fake an injury and think everything will be ok..if Washington had the guts, they should bench Arenas and start Nick Young in the regular season

Arenas blames the media...
"If I wouldn't (have) made any comments, you guys wouldn't have known, right?Right. So lets just say I blew it again. You guys want somebody honest, but you don't want somebody honest."
Honest?...lol

Blames the media? He should be blaming himself for TELLING the media..If it was really just about getting Young minutes, he wouldnt of said anything and let Young just have his moment...Gilbert fails
