Question about jersey cards
some of you might know my story, i was into collecting and then i got out for about 5 years, now im recently back in :) anywho, there has always been a question i had. Has anyone ever gotten a jersey card that was CLEARLY not from that player? I mean like a Bobby Orr that was all blue or something Does anyone know of a mix up like that? I personally never have heard of it, but it seems so amazing to me that there are SO many players and there has never been a mishap.

I know there was a topic posted a little while ago about someone getting I wanna say a redemption back from UD of Brodeur, and it has like yellow and blue on the patch lol
So yes, I will say it happens, but it's not common.

i believe there was a 09-10 Patrick Kane The Cup Honorable Numbers on ebay recently that had a piece of Evander Kane's jersey instead

There are also counterfeits too. As in, singles on eBay will have some totally insane patch, but they will be the wrong colors and it's obvious the card have been tampered with.

yes, I agree with everyone that has posted here. I think I have only seen 1 or 2 jersey/patches that were from a different player, not pictured on the card. Extremely rare to find that though.
