    Do you prefer graded cards?

Seems like the forum is running quite slow now so I will start another discussion.

Since I'm quite new to the hobby of collecting cards, I have a few questions.

Do you prefer graded cards over non-graded? and why?

How do you keep your graded cards?

Is graded card has more value in your opinion? Let says you have the raw card for sale (looking with your bare eyes, there is nothing wrong but the graded card companies will find imperfections to keep this card from perfect anyway) How the price of this raw one compare to card with grade 9 or lower?

    Thank you.

I don't really care for graded cards. I like having the option of taking the actual card out and touching the cardboard if I wanted to. Sounds silly, but that's my preference I guess.

I would get a graded card though just for authenticity verification purposes, especially for often counterfeited cards such as a Jordan rookie.

I don't really care for them, either. I prefer cards to be able to be shown in binders.

If a raw card and a BGS 9.0 card with the same price tag, I would go for BGS 9.0 already. BGS 9.0 is better condition than most of my raw cards that I buy from ebay.

Unless I'm looking for BGS 9.5 RC card, it would be another story since I expect to pay extra for that 0.5 grade :)

I don't mind graded cards, especially if it's a rare or older graded card.

For cards from the last 15 years - I HATE graded cards.

For cards from say 95 and earlier - I will buy them ONLY in PSA 10 condition.

I do not buy graded cards, why should I have to pay extra because someone had it graded? I can determine the condition of a card with my bare eyes.

I don´t like graded cards. I like to be able to touch the card if i want too. Perhaps it´s a silly reason but that´s the reason i don´t buy them.

personally I like to buy a bgs 9 or 9.5 chrome rc of the top rc's in past seasons to keep for my pc. I wouldnt pay to get it graded though, doesnt seem like its worth it unless you get lucky and get a pristine 10.
