Any Leafs fans around??? We're 4-0!
Just wondering since nobody has posted a thread on the Leafs hot start yet. I don't want to jump the gun but so far the Leafs are looking good and working hard which is why they are winning. Outworking the opposition. MacArthur is in the record books as well scoring 5 times in 4 games becoming the 1st Leaf to score in his 1st 4 games with the team. All 4 lines have been doing their jobs, goaltending has been really good, and defensively the team is much better. I'm praying they can continue playing like this for the whole year but obviously there will be a rough patch or two when they lose a couple in a row. That will be the real test.
Anyway Go Leafs Go!
(PS I'm not planning any parade yet Leaf haters and would prefer no silly comments like the ones haters post on TSN your call section.)

Always a good thing when your team comes out of the gate with 4 wins....

As Pheebs said, very impressive start!
Many teams are surprising me this year, and the Leafs are one of them! I'm talking about Nashville and Dallas too!

it is a great start - sometimes when teams get off to great starts like this it carries through the year. it will be interesting to see if they get enough scoring.

Let's hope Kadri will be as good as expected and give some help to the team!
What a team needs the most is experienced players, but also younger ones to balance it.

Toronto is very much a surprise for me... but maybe Burke is does have something up his sleeve and maybe he isn't crazy like we all thought he was last year... who knows
Nashville is doing great too! Atlanta and Tampa are floaters I bet come playoffs but Nashville and Toronto, at this pace, have a pretty decent postseason coming ahead. Maybe 2nd round for Nashville?

Leaf fan here since the late 80s. I'm loving the great start. These wins are going to matter later in the season when we'll be pushing for a playoff spot.
I must admit though, I did not like Burke being the GM when it was announced last year. However, after listening to many interviews and seeing/analyzing the player acquisitions/transactions, Burke has convinced me that he is the right man for the job. Too many Leaf bandwagon hoppers are writing him and Wilson off, but I have renewed faith. For once, in the last 20 years that I can remember, this team is FINALLY YOUNG - something many Leaf fans wanted. Yet, while listening to the radio, Leaf nation is still angry at Burke - particularly the Kessel deal.

Burke had a very good off season. i still the Kessel deal will turn out to be a bad one, but there is no way he thought Toronto would finish so low last year.
it's good to have a young team you can watch develop. in this cap era i think it's how teams are going to stay competitive for longer stretches.
