    UD Complimentary Package

I recently pulled an Michael Jordan Legacy GU Jsy #23. The card was damage when I pulled it and I emailed UD to have the card replaced. They told me that they cannot replace the card and would sent me a complimentary package. I got the cards today and here's what I got:

    09-10 UD Dalembert/Eddy Curry VS Materials #600
    09-10 UD Kwame Brown/Landry VS Materials #600

What a complimentary product. Seriously...what is UD thinking..no wonder they no longer hold any license to the Major Sports. They should have just send me a $1 for the value of this 2 cards. How would you make me a satisfied customer with this kind of complimentary package. I sent them an email telling them that I would rather send back my MJ card and receive a card of similar value. This is just unacceptable. Sorry for the rant..I just feel it's so unfair.

It is not Upper Decks Fault every time a card comes out of a pack damaged. Many times it is because these were loose packs that were handled by many kids and store workers and that is why the cards are damaged. I would be upset if it was from a hobby box but I saw that you pulled this from a loose pack so you should have inspected it better for damage.

Thanks for the replies. It wasnt from a loose pack its from a hobby box that i opened during the Nationals. The damage on the card is not from the corners but its where the jersey is located.

Just an update. They UD emailed me back and told me that I received a complimentary package not replacement. They told me that since they cannot replace the card due to its scarcity that's the reason I got the complimentary package. Told them I understand that it's a complimentary package but at least send me something that would bridge the gap in value that was loss due the MJ card being damage. Will keep you guys posted.

Totally waste of time when UD treats you like dog crap. It is not like you are asking for free auto or GU. UD should know it better how to deal with replacement.
