Well I must say, steep price or not, Panini's card backs already destroy UD's.
They are thoughtful enough to write something about eh player instead of the usual congrats paragraph touting Dick McWilliam as the clown of the cardboard universe.

I never said it did? Did I? No.
I just said the Panini card back's were much better than UD's.
If you do some more searching you will also see Panini has acquired what looks to be one of Crosby's powder blue jerseys. That should make for some VERY nice pieces.
MOD: Can we move this thread to the Panini section or merge it in the appropriate thread in there? Thanks!

That's cool, each to their own opinion right?
I am curious though, do you like UD's card back's better?
And if so, why do you like them better?
Always nice to hear feedback!

That vertical type on a vertical card doesn't appeal to me at all, even the seller had to turn it sideways in the scans. Nice design on the backs though, looks like they spent a little time getting that right.

destroy UD's? you can't be serious? every base card from UD has a little blurb on it with player info. then you have people that bash on UD for not being specific enough with the info on the back of the GU cards and Panini's "The enclosed game worn material is guaranteed by Panini America, Inc." is good enough? Panini is even more vague in their legal speak. If they ever screw up jersey/patch swatches, they can actually use a "We never stated it was <insert player name>'s jersey on that card" defense.Last edited by SkyFire47; 10-20-2010 at 03:37 PM.
