Starting NBA Franchise: Who Would You Pick?
I wrote an article yesterday about who i would pick if i had to choose one player for my new franchise.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/4...o-build-around
ESPN recently had a discussion about the player they would start a franchise today. The top 4 players included Kevin Durant, Lebron James, Dwight Howard, and Dwyane Wade. Some would still say Kobe Bryant because of leadership and desire to win. When picking a franchise player, it’s smart to pick some in their early to mid 20s. You want someone who wants to win, hard-worker, and like able.

I'd take Dwight Howard (Durant a close 2nd). Dominant big men are very tough to find.

Probably Durant, with Howard second. If Howard gets better on the offensive end, my opinion would change, but Durant is pretty awesome

I would choose my son, that way I could go to all the games and cheer him on. Plus he could learn a lot, he is only 2 1/2 so there will be plenty of time for him to improve and learn the systems.

I would choose Durant due to his youth and athleticism.
