In terms of Panini Certified, It is a box where every cards is a parallel or "hit", each card will have a serial #.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.
And are they specially marked and priced or is it just luck that any box could be one and you don't know till you open it?

    There's 1 hot box per case(8boxes cases)

You dont know wich one is the hotbox until you open it for obvious reason.

Usually you get twice the normal amount of gu/autos. If its a box that normally comes with 4 hits a hot box would contain 8.

Certified hot boxes (I got two today) contain all serially-numbered cards, with base Platinum parallels to 999 and a whack of other low-numbered inserts in place of ones that might otherwise be, say, out of 250. Near as I can tell, the 999 base cards are ONLY in the Hot Boxes.
