Wow, I got lucky

I went to Target this weekend to look around. I found myself looking at Baseball and Hockey cards.
I have been buying those 2010 Allen & Ginter blaster boxes lately so I decided to buy one of those hanging packs.
I got to the car and opened it and finally got a Strasburg Mini RC.
I didnt think much of it untill I was almost home and thought to myself, "I remember reading about it somewhere".
I got in the house and looked the card up. You probably already know how shocked I was to see the price of this card.
Yup, I purchased a regular hangning pack, which is like two packs in one, and got a #401 Strasburg Mini. What are the odds???

I feel very lucky and thought I would share. I wonder if I should try to sell it.
And yes, it went right into a case and is Mint (10).

Usually I dont find anything in retail packs, but I guess I was in the right place at the right time.
I just recently found a card shop here in Amarillo Texas and I will be going there again.
I guess it pays off sometimes to pick up that random pack you see at a retail store.
On Ebay they are going for different amounts. Anywhere from 200 bucks to 3700 bucks.
I know he is out for surgery, but I might just hold off to see if he still does good when he comes back.

Same here. I was buying blaster's of A&G too and the best cards I got were a Wright patch, Salty auto, and the US sheep shearing champ patch

I got a couple minis of the creatures from 2009 that I know are BV 12.50 to like 30.00 depending on which of the set it is. Also got a black border mini of St. Andrew's Cathedral that is pretty cool.

At an LCS I got 2 packs of 2008 hobby and pulled the Salty and a Longoria base RC.

I'm waiting for a box of 2010 Topps Chrome football, which will be my first hobby box. Can't wait.

Thats awesome. I like all the mini's.
I cant get into Football cards for some reason, guess cause I was never really into football.
Ive been addicted to Hockey though. Ive yet to pull an Auto though.
My next hobby box is gona be the 2010/11 Panini Certified. I cant wait...
