    Carl Yastrzemski Public Signing

    Hey Everyone-

I was searching the web and came across this the other day. It looks like it will be done in the middle of November and is pretty pricey, but Yaz is pretty Hard to get.

Yeah I saw that a few weeks ago.

My biggest issue with the signing isn't the price but the experience. If he was ttming I'd pay through the nose but when I go to public signings its more than just an auto but the minute of time I have to shake an athletes hand and maybe talk to them for a second.

I am reading a book about the HOF and there's a chapter on how being elected is a huge boost to fees for autos and appearances. In that chapter the author talks to the lady who started/runs MAB and she talks about the various players and their attitudes and she wouldn't even talk about Yaz. One fan mentioned how he tried to ask Yaz a question at a signing and Yaz never even acknowledged him just kept his head down took the item from his handler, signed it, returned it to the handler.

$135 isn't bad for Yaz but driving 3-4hrs, standing in line, and paying that much to get blown off isn't something I personally want to sign up for. I'd rather go through a Fergie Jenkins line($25) five times than do that once.
