I don't use tape. I bought a roll of labels that has 10,000 on it for like $3 at a garage sale. I use them. They are the perfect size and I can tell if someone removed the card.

I sell them for 1.79 at my shows. I'd cut you a deal on some if you need them since they'd need to be shipped. They are 100ct bags. I also have graded card bags as well. Team bags also work great for putting over the 1screw holders as well to keep them from getting scratched. And the graded card bags fit over the thicker 1/2" 1 screws as well!
I can do $4 dlvd for 2x100ct team bags if you want. Which is still cheaper than your local shop since you save tax. :)

I'd rather you sent cash or MO. I'll have to pay paypal fees on these and I'm pushing right up to my cost on these as it is.
PM me and I'll send you an address. If anyone else is interested I have probably 15 bags (of 100) or so that I can still part with. If there are a lot of people interested in supplies I'll start up my account with cardboardgold again.

I hate when people tape. It leaves sticky crap all over. I own every size of top loader I can find. Just put the card in a top loader that fits and you wont have the problem of slippage. I now have a large box of garbage top loaders from cards I have bought and traded.

I don't mind if people tape, I just replace the top loader with a new one from my collection and when I send I put cards in the old top loaders if I have one handy, or I use a new one. They're 4 cents a piece.. I'll replace it if it insures my card will arrive in good condition. And even cards that "Fit" the toploader properly are still prone to falling out. Just because people haven't complained doesn't mean the card didn't show up half-hanging out of the top loader. Why try and do things the cheap easy way when for less than a penny extra you can do things the nice, guaranteed safe way? Doesn't make sense to me.

I don't tape them, nor do i like getting taped top loaders, they are a pain to remove, and the card won't come out if the top laoder is the right size.

Simple solution: Ask what the other trader expects, ask if he would like the top loader taped or in a team bag, that way he stays happy. I myself usually tape and put in a team bag, top loaders are so cheap these days plus you can always re-use the sticky top loaders for trades. Like someone previously mentioned I have a box of taped toploaders, these are what I use when sending out cards. So when you get a top loader with tape on it dont try and clean it, just throw it in a box to use for future trades.

For those that don't like having the tape residue, just use a rubber band. It keeps the toploader shut and eliminates the residue problem.
