Don't buy Hot Packs. They are opened and resealed. I made that mistake a few times learn from my mistakes.

+1. My hot packs were searched by somebody with big thumbs because almost every jersey/patch card had a crease in it. The Hinrich below was the last straw...

I would contact the seller and call them out, ask for a refund first. If they don't refund you then open up a claim with eBay. This advice is only if they are truly found to be messed with.

realreodeal i will do that. as soon as i get the cards i will check if they are opened and resealed. the sellers rating is 100% and more than 2000 feedbacks. saw one neutral and said the cards hand finger prints on it. if this is the case i would definitely file a claim. how can this sellers do this and rip people of their hard earned cash? i guess this is life.

I've had experience with "hot packs" and agree with what's already been said - they are opened and resealed in 99% of the cases. Feedback is irrelevant, in all honesty. Why? Because eBay does NOTHING. My proof is clear...bought a "Hot Pack" of UD Legendary Cuts baseball and got the guaranteed cut. It was a bum, not a huge surprise, many were but I didn't think much of it. But then was poking around on eBay and lo and behold...my exact card (same name, 'graph and numbering) had been purchased about 6 weeks prior as a single card! So how did it get back into my "Hot Pack"? Weird. More research and I discovered the guy had done this dozens and dozens of times. Buys under one name, sells under another, and sprinkles it with legit card sales to keep his feedback up. I filed a complaint, could not possibly have had more of a "smoking gun" and yes, you guessed it - dude's still on eBay, still selling Hot Packs, and still ripping people off. eBay did NOTHING to stop a crook that had been caught absolutely red-handed. And, for the record, I know I wasn't the only one that filed against this scumbag. Stay away.

I think there is a very simple solution to all of this. I've never bought a "hot pack" from eBay, doesn't it seem fishy to you at first? But anyway, my solution which will work is too simply not buy any hot packs on eBay. period.
