Sorry, I think this is a complete joke.

Yea....Nike completely dropped the ball on this one. They need to realize it isn't a Cleveland thing...everyone in the world (outside of Miami fans/bandwagoners) hates LeBron because of the WAY he did everything, not because he left Cleveland.

LeBron will never get it. He doesn't deserv the racist remarks thrown at him but I think he deserves every bit of criticism he's received so far. He was the face of the NBA...the next legend. Something tells me things will die down once the season is underway.

"Should I be who you want me to be"

    ROFL LMAO

I'm not a Lebron hater per se, but come on man..... You're the one who answers to King James, the Chosen One. Be who you claimed yourself to be. No one forced those names on you or tattooed it across your back. You're the one that promised to bring a ring to Cleveland. You stated you were not a ring chaser. Most telling is, you are the one who wants to move on and let the past be just that, yet you find the time to share tweets, make commercials that re-open the womb that seemingly was closing.

If anything that commercial shows that most of the criticisms were actually self inflicted.

    complete joke to me also.
first off, what does this have to do with nike??? they mention shoes for maybe a good 5 seconds.
95% of whats said in the commercial is pointless to me and every other person living in cleveland.

I like the commercial... I dont get why people hate on him... One of the analysts on Mike and Mike said it best a few mornings ago. Players dont go to Cleveland... Players get drafted by Cleveland. Im not hating on them by any means as I that is probably the closest NBA city to me but facts dont lie. He wasnt going to win a ring in Cleveland.... They dont have the exposure he will get in South Beach... He wasnt going to convince DWade to leave the beach and come to the snowy midwest.... he did what was best for HIM which is exactly what he should be doing... Lebron is the best in the NBA right now. No one can match his size, ability, and knowledge of the game. A couple years from now when he has 2 rings on his fingers and another comma in the bank no one is going to care about the Decision.... No one even remembers Kobe's summer of I want a trade, I want to stay, I want a trade..... Then they signed Pau Gasol....

A lot of truth to your statement and I think most fans that were disappointed would actually like to move forward. This commercial is not moving forward. Trying to slam Barkley is not moving forward or smart. Sharing hateful tweets is not moving forward. It's digging into the very same wound that most people would rather forget. If for anything to just stop hearing about it. Like I said, I don't hate the guy but I do believe a lot of what he (and his fans) are trying to downplay as hate is self inflicted. I could care less. Go Spurs......

And the Lakers stole Gasol..... NBA can't survive with a struggling Lakers squad

First off the Barkley thing was funny... Even Chuck himself said he got a chuckle from it. The dude has feelings... He isnt the hardened athlete like we see so much on tv. The guy cares about what people think of him. What if people who you poured you're heart out for6 1/2 seasons was burning your jersey? Bottom line, Cleveland can hate all they want but when he comes back to town it will be a sellout.... When the Heat come to Indiana it will be a sellout.... People will wear his Heat jersey, buy his cards on Ebay, Cheer for him because like it or not he is still Lebron and people will get over it.

You're still missing the point. I know it has to hurt and you know what? The best thing he can do is to let it die down and start the new chapter. If I remember, it was his own plea. You think he's the first public figure to get hateful messages? We can't even respect the president.... this guy plays basketball..... My point is, the last person that needs to keep bringing it up is him. There was a lot of ways to do that and reaching back was not it. We all know it will be a sellout wherever he goes. Why? Because we know (or should) he's focusing on the handful of idiots to the point where he's using a commercial to give their words/actions more power. Sticks and stones - That's all I'm saying. Secondly, of course Charles got a chuckle out of it. His weight has been the punchline of TNT for years. And his criticisms were not directly towards Lebron but, of course, that's how he took it. Besides, this is Nike's doing in an effort to sell product so I wouldn't expect it to make much sense. Nothing else does nowadays anyway. Might as well had thrown Tiger in there with Hugh Hefner at the playboy mansion.
