I would think they need to have something "controversial" happen tonight after the past few stinker ppv's. Miz cashing in is the only thing that makes sense to me right now if the line of thinking of a title unification occuring Wrestlemania ithat has been talked about is going to actually happen. The PPV buy rates have been down and I would think WWE needs something to happen at this one so people will think that they need to buy the next one so they won't miss something.

Just to clarify:

The only one who held his MITB case for more than a few months was Edge, who cashed his at New Year's Revolution '06 in Albany. I was there for that one (last PPV attended).

CM Punk's two cases were both cashed in the month of June. The first one was at the expense of Edge, with a wee bit of help from Batista. Last year, it was on Jeff Hardy, as Punk started his current heel run. 2 months in each case.

The chronology:

2005 MITB winner: Edge (Wrestlemania 21-April '05). Cashed in January '06.
2006 winner: Rob Van Dam (WM22). Cashed in June '06 (One Night Stand).
2007 winner: Mr. Kennedy (WM23). Lost case to Edge on Raw. Edge cashed on Smackdown vs. Undertaker.
2008-09: CM Punk (WM 24-25). Cashed the '08 case on Raw, and the '09 case at Extreme Rules (formerly One Night Stand).
2010: Jack Swagger (WM 26)---cashed on Smackdown "5" nights later vs. Chris Jericho.
The Miz (MITB PPV)---currently holding, and many think he will cash tonight.
Kane (MITB PPV)---cashed vs. Rey Mysterio the same night he won it for the quickest to cash in his case, bettering Swagger's mark set earlier at WM 26).

Gladdy's not the only one with a mancrush on Mizizzle. Michael Cole's the on-air president of the Miz Fan Club.

Anyone think that 'dream' segment meant anything? I didn't at first, but now it makes more sense. It did have the humor parts for the election, like him waking up at $50 million that Linda spent, and having the opponents banner down his back when he woke up, but it makes sense for the GM and Nexus. Steph is the GM, and HHH is the leader of Nexus. Stephanie was mad when she thought Vince woke up, because she and HHH have been running it behind his back. HHH said he was still in a coma, I guess from the Nexus beating?, so they are still able to take over Raw
