    Beckett's Shipping Prices

Not sure if it's the same for you guys over there, but for me, 28 base cards posted to the UK, apparently to them, costs over $12 shipping. That's ridiculous!! It's roughly $5, even less.

I cannot believe every time you add 2 more cards to the cart, it increases by about two bucks.

    Arrgh!

Not sure if you refer to card sent being graded or from a seller on beckett site. If it's a seller then it's not beckett. Beckett let member sell their cards. Now ususally a seller will say like $0.50 for each additional cards. I always read or ask before buying to make sure I know what it is I will pay. Shipping also include handling and some charge for this too!

If I don't like the shipping fee, I don't buy the item. Seller can always decide to send with insurance or tracking and this cost more. Mainly a buyer should check that before buying and if too expensive then stay away from this seller. Some for internaltiona shipping will ask to have tracking and here in Canada, I know it's 12 minimum and up to 20$ for international. Fee really vary depending on the shippement service used. Some will not mail with no tracking ID because they got scam to often of cards.

I totally agree, I always check the shipping and handling before buying. It's on Beckett Marketplace and the price is 'uninsured' with USPS. Insured I believe doubles in price (maybe more).

I heard from one seller on there that they basically just set Beckett's rates and that's that. I had a problem with this before as USPS do quote a silly amount when shipping, but when it actually arrives in the post, the stamp on the front says approx. $3, in my experience anyway. I do understand and appreciate that obviously the handling bit comes into it as well though.

I have asked him previously but he seemed a little vague on whether he would budge on the shipping and handling. I'll ask again but am not paying that much to ship just under 30 base cards. Maybe I'm being a little too hasty.
